Who is Dr. Tolga Temel?

After graduating from Osmangazi University Faculty of Medicine, I began my career at the Kastamonu Kascilar Health Center in 1996. Today, I continue my career at the Natural Beauty and Wellness Center, which I founded in Lara, Antalya.

I have held many different positions in professional associations, public healthcare institutions, and private healthcare organizations, and each position has provided me with a different experience and perspective.

My connection with professional associations, which began with the Eskişehir Medical Chamber during my student years and continued in every city, gave me a perspective on Social Medicine.

In the early years of my career, at the Health Center I worked at in Kastamonu, my social perspective, combined with my experience in Environmental and Public Health, formed the foundation of my current understanding of Preventive Medicine.

The training I received at the Psychosocial Support and Crisis Intervention Unit established by the Ministry of Health at Edirne Selimiye State Hospital, particularly on topics such as the Emergency Management of Psychiatric Illnesses and Psychological Factors in Emergency Illnesses, the Psychological Effects of Trauma and Chronic Illnesses, and the Metabolic Consequences of Psychological Illnesses, along with the observations I gained from participating in clinical studies, led me to question my perspective on Classical Medical Education and to turn to the Holistic Medicine perspective, which was fundamentally taught to us but subsequently neglected.

I served as Director of the Turkish Red Crescent Antalya Blood Center in Antalya for approximately five years, and during this time, I had the opportunity to observe differences in the behavior and knowledge of healthy individuals regarding their health and to identify problems. Subsequently, during my five-year tenure as Chief Physician at the Private Antalya Medical Center, my research and work in Holistic Medicine began.

This process began with GAPS training with Russian-American Neurologist and Nutritionist Dr. Natasha Campbell, and intensified with phytotherapy, mesotherapy, and aromatherapy training. It continued, and continues, with numerous training programs and an intensive reading schedule, including training with Turkish-German Oncologist Dr. Hüseyin Şahinbaş on Heavy Metal Toxicity in Diseases and Chelation Therapies, Intravenous High-Dose IV Vitamin C, and Thermal Therapy, and training with British Kinesiotherapy and Osteopathy Specialist Dr. Chris Astill Smith.

At the Natural Beauty and Wellness Center, where I currently provide services, we approach skin problems and aesthetic needs holistically (by examining the intestines for acne problems, evaluating hormones for blemishes, and investigating nutritional habits for premature aging and collagen loss), and we can create solutions with the help of our natural products and modern devices.

From what needs to be done to maintain health to identifying and managing disease-causing factors in the body (mental problems, toxins, heavy metals, flora disorders, genetic and epigenetic factors, nutritional problems, breathing problems, etc.); from treatment, nutrition and weight control for chronic, metabolic and autoimmune diseases to treatments for digestive system and intestinal diseases; from breathing exercises to personalized exercise plans, and even from factors that cause disease at home and in the outdoor environment of daily life (cleaning materials, cooking utensils, foods, etc.), I accept patients with a holistic perspective and provide consultancy/training services in schools, private groups, associations and festivals.
